ABCNF Education Series Safety Training Courses

These courses are offered on an as needed basis.  If you have individuals in your company who need safety training courses we will try and accommodate your request.  We require ten participants for each course, but if you have less than ten we will attempt to fill the course minimum with other member companies -  let us know (fill out the linked form) - or email us at  info@abcnorthflorida.org.

ABCNF Education Series OSHA 10-Hour Course

ABC North Florida’s Chapter Education Series OSHA 10 Hour class is intended to provide an entry level construction worker's general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards on a construction site.

The cost includes the 10-hour certification, lunch on Wednesday and breakfast on Thursday.

ABCNF Education Series 5 Hour Certification for First Aid, AED & CPR

This course is intended to teach people life-saving skills, in case of an injury or medical issue. American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) CPR, AED and basic first aid training programs are equivalent to the programs offered by both the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Red Cross (ARC). HSI is a recognized major sponsor of CPR training programs. The program helps develop basic first aid knowledge, skills, and the confidence to respond. CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid combination training is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and conforms to the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR, ECC, and First Aid.

ABCNF Education Series 12 Hour General Contractor Continuing Education Course

 

This 12 hour course will allow you to obtain all of the CE credits that are required for relincensure. The following are the courses that this all day class will cover:

2014 Changes to Florida Building Code Chapter 1 (Advanced Code)
Building Construction Profits (General)
Cash Flow Management (Business Practices)
Contractor Licensing (Laws and Rules)
Hurricane Mitigation Retrofits (Wind Mitigation)
OSHA and Workers' Comp Tracking and Reporting (Workplace Safety and WC)

If you have attended any of these courses, either at one of our lunches or elsewhere, you will not be required to retake that portion.
