Silica Standards Training
This course is intended to teach OSHA Silica Standards in regards to health effects, hazard recognition, and control measures.


Fall Protection Training

This three-hour awareness course is designed for individuals with frequent exposure to fall hazards. Participants gain knowledge and skills necessary to identify and avoid hazards associated with elevated work locations. The course features a series of presentations, demonstrations and hands-on exercises.

Scaffolding Training
This four-hour class is designed for employees requiring basic knowledge of the Federal OSHA Sub-part L Regulations pertaining to scaffold and related hazards. This course may be used as a method for employers to deem their employees as "competent." In this classroom and hands-on training, attendees will learn what Federal OSHA says regarding supported scaffold: training requirements, scaffold definitions, competent/qualified persons, types of scaffold, users/erectors, design and load criteria, hazards, proper erecting and dismantling, inspection requirements, criteria for supported scaffold, and falling.

Trench Excavation Safety Training

This four hour awareness course is designed for individuals with frequent exposure to trench excavation hazards. Participants gain knowledge and skills necessary to identify and avoid hazards associated with excavating work locations. The course features a series of presentations, demonstrations and hands-on exercises.



ABCNF Education Series OSHA 10-Hour Course

ABC North Florida’s Chapter Education Series OSHA 10 Hour class is intended to provide an entry level construction worker's general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards on a construction site.

The cost includes the 10-hour certification, lunch on Wednesday and breakfast on Thursday.

ABCNF Education Series 5 Hour Certification for First Aid, AED & CPR

This course is intended to teach people life-saving skills, in case of an injury or medical issue. American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) CPR, AED and basic first aid training programs are equivalent to the programs offered by both the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Red Cross (ARC). HSI is a recognized major sponsor of CPR training programs. The program helps develop basic first aid knowledge, skills, and the confidence to respond. CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid combination training is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and conforms to the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR, ECC, and First Aid.

ABCNF Education Series 12 Hour General Contractor Continuing Education Course

GC courses 

This 12 hour course will allow you to obtain all of the CE credits that are required for relincensure. The following are the courses that this all day class will cover:

2014 Changes to Florida Building Code Chapter 1 (Advanced Code)
Building Construction Profits (General)
Cash Flow Management (Business Practices)
Contractor Licensing (Laws and Rules)
Hurricane Mitigation Retrofits (Wind Mitigation)
OSHA and Workers' Comp Tracking and Reporting (Workplace Safety and WC)

If you have attended any of these courses, either at one of our lunches or elsewhere, you will not be required to retake that portion.
